Band Exposure- Miss Construction

well, before i begin, merry Christmas! my present to you is this wonderful European band. because again, they are very underground, i can find little info on them. (to be honest i don't have much time to look either.) but i can tell you they are an EBM/industrial/dark electro band. They're incredibly harsh, so if you like giving others a headache, they are perfect for your cause, and their sound is also quite energetic, you do an industrial dance to this if you like! anyway enjoy Zombified  and fuck you bitch below!

Band exposure, Tristania

far out, i keep getting lazy on here. but in the need of a new post, Ive decided to keep the bands rolling though,. Today I'm sharing Tristania, a Norwegian band, that formed in 1996. They are female fronted symphonic metal/goth/slightly industrial band. They sound most like theatre of tragedy, nightwish, Theatres des Vampires etc; Initially, they were pretty stereotypical, of a symphonic band, smooth ghostly female vocals, and brass/strings brought out in the background. but these days they have made excellent use of harsh sounds, creating much more atmosphere. Like any band, members have come and gone, but of course all for the better.
the song you just listened to (if you were bothered) is an oldie but a goodie!

Band Exposure, Strict regime

Strict regime is an EBM/industrial/dark wave/experimental band and like much of my music, very underground. They come from London (UK) and have started working on their first album. Like many bands, each individual member has at one point toured in other bands, and written their own music. They are pretty much in their early days but from listening to their few released songs, I'm quite positive they have a shit load more of good stuff coming!
i recommend you try and find their song "gridlock" as its one of my favourites, i would have posted it below in preference to their song "strict regime" but you tube is being highly frustrating right now. Anyway, i hope you enjoy!

Sleaze bands, Glamour punks

Long time no see! since i haven't written anything about hair metal lately Ive decided to clean my act up a tad. Anyway, today I'm going to share glamor punks, and 80's punk band. Sadly there is very little information about them anywhere, due to their underground status. but nether the less, they are still worthy of mention!
they have one outstanding album and a small but very loyal fan base.  and if it makes you more interested,  i recall Andy Biersack once saying if he had a choice of any band other than black veil brides he would want to play for these guys! Anyway, here's a quick look at them below:

*also, if this happens to be the wrong song/video/audio i am truly sorry, blogger is undergoing change and I'm not liking it very well.

The Silver Shrine

The silver Shrine is another psychobily/rockabilly/gothabilly band, that is probably more publicised that the hellfreaks although i think i like the hellfreaks a tad more. nether the less, the silver shrine are pretty good!

Aesthesys

Next band to share with you! Aesthesys are a neoclassical/ambient/post-rock project (band) from Germany. recently Ive been listening to allot of their music but sadly they are very underground and very little is known about them. But i do know that their name comes from the term Aesthe, which has some sort of meaning of all knowledge in simplified language. Here is their song "i am free, that is why i am lost" posted by a fan back in 2010 (they haven't written any music of late so i dont feel the need to post their newest single etc;) Anyway, i hope you enjoy it!

Mind.In.A.Box, Band exposure

I only just realized, that it has been to long since my last band exposure! The first band that cane to mind when coming to this realization was Mind.In.A.Box. Sadly, people know very little about this band, and so there is very little i can tell you, however i know enough to give you some general knowledge.

The band originates from Vienna, Austria. MIAB is an industrial/synthpop/ebm/electro band, the sound of their first few alums is mostly a combination of story telling conversations, along with introductory monologues all based on science, fantasy etc. Earlier this year, they just finished their fifth CD. you can view their homepage (which has a pretty cool layout) here at http://www.mindinabox.com/ the Video below is a fan-made, but Ive gotta say, some of the graphics are pretty cool!

Sleaze Bands part 3, Heart Throb Mob

I haven't added any sleaze lately, the next on a really long list is Heart throb mob. a relatively colourful band, with vibrant reds and at one stage, blues in amongst their hair. They lasted for a short five years before breaking up in 1997 and went through a total of five members. During their short time together they made two albums which go by the name of hit list and eat your heart out. Although their music career was short lived, i they have a really light hearted feel, something you can apply/dance to on any occasion! Throughout their music you'll hear good rhythm, nice guitar shredding and pleasant vocals.

The Clockwork Dolls

The clockwork dolls, are a steam punk/musical/female vocalist trio that began in 2007. They share a combination of skills, including acting, writing and being able to fuse ages to create their imaginative music. Their music is often a storytelling fantasy consisting of airships and marvelous steam contraptions which are given audio interpretations throughout their songs.
their official logo is of a bronzed rose compass from the steam age.

So far they have two albums, one self titled and the other called Dramatis personae. Hopefully they will plan another album sometime for the near future.

The Hellfreaks

Today i feel the need to share a very underground band, the Hellfreaks. They are a Hungarian rockabilly/psychobilly/punk band featuring female vocals. They really stand aside from other bands, in fact Ive never seen anything so beautifully non-mainstream. Their lead singer Shakey Sue, completely shatters the stereotype which is structured around female vocals. The band gives a perfect demonstration of how any rock/goth/psychobilly bands should feel and sound, with a quick paced beat and such humorous, quirky and morbid expressions. So far they only have the one album, "hell sweet hell" although I'm hoping they get a move on and keep writing! Like many aesthetic bands (not all) they have all identified with descriptive names, their lead singer goes by the title of Shakey sue, their double bass player known as bloody holly, Yoda surfer on guitar (a name directly from geek heaven!!!, i don't know about you but i think geeks are so cute) and W illy cruel blasting some rhythm on drums. Anyway, for your enjoyment here is their song "boogie man"

sleaze bands part 1, crashdiet

I'm very sorry for leaving such time between posts, but in mention of that i decided i would post a most worthy band of mention, and some of their music.
crashdiet are a Swedish sleaze rock that formed in 2000. their first full length album was released around 2005, (rest in sleaze) and is the only record featuring their original vocalist, who later committed suicide. After the trauma, and loss of their lead singer, they broke up temporarily, although at the time it was intended to be a permanent decision. Once they got back together, they wrote a new album with their new singer called "the unattractive revolution". their most recent album has yet another lead singer, and now none of the original members remain, id say which members i prefer, but I'm sure you'd like to decide that for yourself!
The video above is from their second album some time after their breakup, and is on their album called the unattractive revolution, the video below is from the album generation wild, and is called generation wild, with their most recent member line-up.

The Cog is Dead, an ideal steampunk band

On recent Internet explorations, i happened to stumble upon something really beautiful. in fact so beautiful its the only thing Ive listened to since.
The cog is dead is a four piece band that's uses many instruments. whilst they don't sound industrial, theoretically, their experimentation with steam inspired "noise" could fit the description, with many clunking, smoky and tick like noises in amongst their rhythmic tunes.Amongst their four members, they do vocals, piano, guitars, bass, drums, kazoo, banjo and accordion (probably more)
the only negative of this project is that its well and truly over with one CD, and no sign of return. which is a shame really, personally i would have loved to listen to the many albums they have not written. anyway, even though they don't write anymore, I'm still enjoying what they did give us, you can listen for yourself below:

Band Exposure: Midnight syndicate

For just over a decade, Midnight Syndicate have creating orchestral/dark wave/ambient/neoclassical music, with 13 individual albums so far. Over the years, they have become extremely famous throughout Halloween, their music depicting a perfect image for Halloween. There music is not only famous with Halloween but with world famous horror theme parks. I mainly enjoy the mesmerising rhythms that they play, building up tension and the letting if fade away. If anything they should be playing film tracks, not to say they havn't!

They came from Ohio, California, and over the 13 years or so they've been playing, only 2 original members remain. During this time, they have work and performed with many bands, they have toured with groups such as the motley crue and king diamond! their new album is supposedly out very soon! (early august, i heard) anyway, check their song out below ENJOY!

Band Exposure: Glamour Of The Kill

Feeling Alive, Glamour Of The Kill
Once upon a time, Glamour of the kill were know as "The Red Room Theory". Well that's all a part of history now, since that little era, they have become known as GOTK (acronym). GOTK are an United Kingdom metalcore band, with nicely satisfying screaming and catchy sing along choruses (The exact same fuzzies escape the fate gives you). Ive come to believe that they will be quite successful, they have toured with bands such as bullet for my valentine and avenged sevenfold (I'm not even fused on that band) However I'd quite happily make those bands tour with GOTK instead, that's all Ive got to say as to my preference.
They're signed to the independent record label siege, and have been with them since 2003, although they "sealed the deal" in 2008. Recently they released their new album, featuring Feeling alive, so i recommend you buy it now!
For guys who play in a metalcore band that's rapidly gaining exposure, i must say they are very laid back, without being douches about it. Always a bonus!!, if you want to get an idea, check out the following interview with Dave, Lead singer/bass and Chris, Guitars.

Band exposure: Girl vs Ghost

Girl vs ghost are an Australian (suprisingly good for Australian music, i must say so myself) Punk/rock band, with female vocals. They use inspiration mainly from Paramore and My chemical romance.
The one thing i probably admire mostly about this band would have to be some of their earlier expiriences as a band. In 2008 their guitarist (tristan) was diagnosed with cancer. GvsG held their heads up and Tristan did survive. during that time their line up changed quite a bit although within that time the development of their first ep eye for an eye, came to be. the ep has many songs dealing with the fight against cancer and other troubling situations. im sure you will all enjoy GvsG, they really are one of those bands that anyone can love. check out their video eye for an eye below:

all my friends are zombies (below eye for an eye)

thanking http://www.triplejunearthed.com/GirlVsGhost for refreshing my knowledge!
